Max Milligan is an internationally-exhibited photographer, with work in private and corporate collections worldwide. Renowned for his painterly eye, his naturally–lit photographs are positives, captured without the use of flash or filters, and with no subsequent manipulation. His book, "Realm of the Incas", which Conde Nast Traveller calls "an astonishing photographic collection" was published in 2001 and was named in The Times Top Ten Travel books of the year. Passing through eight distinct geographical and climatic zones, Realm encompasses every aspect of this Peruvian region, from landscapes and wildlife to the festivals of the people and the incredible architecture of their Inca ancestors. His most recent book, Ghana: A Portrait with a foreword by Kofi Annan, went into a second edition after only 5 months and is being sold at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. Books on Scottish Landscapes, Fine Art Nudes and Ethiopia are currently in production. After 20 years working in the Cuzco region, his immense knowledge and respect for the area create opportunities for all those who work with him. He effectively employs history and humor to marvel one and all. www.maxmilligan.com
